Our Educational Philosophy
At 3 Rivers Wildflower Montessori, we believe in a child-centered approach to education. Our philosophy promotes respect, trust, and collaboration among students, parents, and educators. Wildflower classrooms are warm, open, and inviting spaces with child-sized furniture, nature-inspired elements, and inviting materials that cultivate a lifelong curiosity and love for learning.
Family Partners
We are a team of educators and parents advocating for Montessori education in the city of Pittsburgh. We are planting the seeds for a new type of school. Parents are actively engaged in their children's education. Volunteer opportunities, parent education, and assistance is available for caregivers who have an interest in becoming Montessori educators themselves!

We value the contribution of our elders, a curriculum that is centered on Peace Education and Cultural Competency, hands on learning, and a seamless learning community. At Three Rivers Wildflower, we seek out elders who hold the keys and the wisdom of generations. With their support, we engage in learning that is hands-on, skills-centered, and community-invested.
