At 3 Rivers Wildflower, a leading Montessori school in Pittsburgh, we embrace a child-centered learning approach to education. Our philosophy fosters respect, trust, and collaboration among students, parents, and educators. In our Wildflower classrooms, we create warm, open, and inviting spaces featuring child-sized furniture, nature-inspired elements, and engaging materials that nurture a lifelong curiosity and love for learning beginning with one-self.

We are a team of educators and parents advocating for liberatory, Montessori education in Pittsburgh. Our mission is to plant seeds for a new type of school that emphasizes child-centered learning. Parents and caregivers are actively engaged in their children's education through volunteer opportunities, parent education, and support for caregivers interested in becoming Montessori educators themselves!
Three Rivers is committed to supporting families as the first educators of their children. We highly value the contributions of our elders, integrating their wisdom into our curriculum, which focuses on Peace Education and Cultural Competency. At our Montessori school, Three Rivers Wildflower, we actively seek out elders who embody the knowledge of generations. With their guidance, we engage in hands-on learning that is skill-centered and deeply invested in the community.

There are many ways to give and support us as we grow in our commitment to child-centered learning at our Montessori school. We value our families' expertise and welcome your knowledge and skills to enhance Pittsburgh education. We'll make it easy for you to plug in by becoming a member of our TIME BANK.
