A Montessori education follows the child throughout their life. Students have autonomy, set goals, and learn to manage schedules with teachers acting as guides who support their learning. They will grow to meet each day's challenges by discovering themselves and following curiosity beyond what was expected! The 3 River Wildflower Team members share a commitment to living the Montessori principles as adults. The co-teaching collaborative model between Montessori and Special Education ensures an individualized standards-based curriculum for each child. 3 Rivers Wildflower is committed to engaging families in the classroom as employees, as volunteers, and as recipients of community-based supports. The Three Rivers Wildflower model is innovative in this and in their integration of community and family elders. Elders form the foundation as a wellspring of knowledge of history and skills. 3 Rivers Wildflower will enhance community connections and trust where residents are active parts of their community and thrive as individuals. The Three Rivers model ensures that children cultivate an identity rooted in their community and family history. As families and community members,  we support a culturally relevant education model that is proven to reduce disparities and contribute to a lifelong love of learning and quality of life.
